General climate

When visiting the Cocos Keeling Islands expect hot days and balmy evenings - perfect weather for relaxing and enjoying the many lagoon, ocean and beach-related activities available.

The islands experience two main seasons that often overlap: the trade wind season from April/May to September/October, and the calmer doldrum season from November through to April.

Temperatures are fairly consistent no matter what the season, remaining around a comfortable 30°C during the day, with a minimum evening temperature rarely dropping below 24°C. Humidity ranges between 70%-80% so you won't need to pack any winter clothes whenever you visit the Cocos Keeling Islands! Check out the forecast on the Bureau of Meteorology website.
