Tides play an important role in many of our water activities. The Motorised Canoe Safari allows access to the southern end of the lagoon on a high tide due to the shallow draft of their vessels. A low tide allows foot access to Pulu Maraya for a snorkel and reef walk.

Check with the Visitor Centre if you're planning a tide-dependent activity with tide charts available for sale at the Community Resource Centre, or visit the Bureau of Meteorology link to see more about tides and anomoly effects on Cocos.
